HR & Systems Adviser

Location: Oxford

Salary: GBP18.59 - GBP19.18

Contract:Temporary until March 2028

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for an experienced HR & Systems Adviser to join their People team.

This is a varied HR advisory role, providing day-to-day support to managers and employees while also taking the lead on workforce data, HR systems and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide practical and legally compliant HR advice to managers and employees

Independently manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters

Coach and support managers across the employee lifecycle

Support recruitment campaigns and HR projects

Lead on workforce data and HR systems, identifying opportunities to improve processes

Support HR system upgrades and new implementations

Contribute to policy, reporting and wider people initiatives

About You

CIPD qualified/member

Strong experience handling employee relations cases

Confident working independently across a broad range of HR matters

Experience working with Trade Unions and operational workforces

Knowledge and experience of HRIS systems & PowerBI

Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills
