HR Administrator - Inverness, UK

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR professional or someone looking to get into HR, to contribute to a dynamic team and support the organisation's ongoing success.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and maintain employee records accurately and confidentially within the HR system.Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.Support onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.Handle employee queries related to HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.Assist with payroll administration and benefits processing.Maintain compliance with employment law and company policies.Prepare HR reports and documentation as required by management.Support the organisation of training sessions and development initiatives.Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in an HR administration or similar role is preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.Good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Relevant HR qualification or certification (e.g., CIPD Level 3 or above) is desirable.Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration is advantageous.
