Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Estimator to join our friendly and proactive Client located in Benfleet/Canvey Island, Essex.

Confident knowledge of Ductwork Ventilation / HVAC Construction would be desirable but not essential!

Key Benefits on offer:

Salary: GBP35,000 per annum

Position: Full time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, office based, 9:00am to 5:00pm (with a 3:00pm finish on a Friday)

Role Description

Compiling accurate take-offs and estimates from mechanical layout drawings/schematicsProcurement of building materials (from schedules), tendering, following up to receive quotes on time, analysing quotes, discussing with the QS, tracking against budgets, negotiating with suppliers, drafting and placing purchase orderAnalysing drawings, specifications, schedules and other relevant documentationLiaising with Site Managers and clients to gather specific project requirementsMust have experience in estimatingRole Requirements

Experienced Quantity Surveying / Estimating (minimum of 3 years)Ability to read and understand construction layout drawings and schematicsExperience in Ductwork or Mechanical sectors is preferableExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in using Ensign estimating and pricing software is a bonus
