Candidate Assessment Officer

Our client has an opportunity for an Interviewer/Assessor to join them on a permanent basis.

As an Interviewer/Assessor, you will be responsible for the implementation of both physical and psychometric assessment activities under strict test conditions. The application of a detailed marking guide to ensure candidates are graded in accordance with their ability.

Role: Interviewer/Assessor

Location: Woking - fully onsite

Clearance: Must be able to qualify for BPSS security requirements

Salary: 27,820 + Night Allowance of 85.95 per night

Hours: 37.5 hours per week over a 7-day period. This will include overnight chaperone and 'on call' duties once per week

What you'll be doing:

Briefing and delivering all cognitive assessment activities under test conditionsContributing to an un-biased test environment for all assessment activitiesAssessing candidates against fixed criteriaProviding feedback on a candidate's performance at assessment, their assessment outcome and their next steps in the recruitment processConducting individual career discussions with candidatesWriting accurate reports to assist recruiters and Basic Training Instructors to understand the candidate's strengths and weaknesses

Requirements:

Interview experience preferredGreat people skillsFull driving licenseStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenThe ability to nurture and mentor candidatesIT proficiencyExcellent Team PlayerFamiliarity with Army Careers, would be an advantageOrganised approachStrong attention to detailGood MS Office skills
