Field Based National Travel Required Full Time Permanent Adecco Workforce Solutions UK & Ireland

Salary: 42,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Are you an experienced Account Manager with a passion for building strategic client partnerships, leading high–performing teams, and delivering exceptional workforce solutions?

We're looking for a National Account Manager to take ownership of significant multi–site clients account, overseeing service delivery across a diverse portfolio of locations throughout the UK. This is a field–based role requiring regular travel to client sites, including locations across Yorkshire, the Midlands, the South East and beyond, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships and operational excellence are maintained nationwide.

As the senior lead for the account, you'll be responsible for managing a team of Contract Managers and Consultants, driving performance, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of workforce solutions that support both client objectives and business goals.

What You'll Be Doing

Client Leadership & Relationship Management

Act as the strategic lead and trusted advisor for key client stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple client sites and leadership teams.Lead regular business reviews, providing insights, recommendations, and continuous improvement initiatives.Develop and execute account plans that support client growth and retention.Team Leadership

Lead, coach and develop a team of Contract Managers and Consultants across multiple locations.Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.Support succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement within the account team.Operational Excellence

Oversee end–to–end workforce solutions delivery across a national, multi–site account.Ensure contractual commitments, KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved.Resolve operational challenges and drive service improvements that enhance the client experience.Commercial & Financial Management

Take ownership of account profitability and commercial performance.Identify opportunities for service expansion, efficiency improvements and value creation.Support contract renewals and growth initiatives through strong client engagement and strategic planning.Data, Reporting & Insights

Analyse workforce and performance data to identify trends and opportunities.Deliver Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews to senior stakeholders.Provide meaningful recommendations that support operational and commercial decision making.Compliance & Governance

Ensure adherence to employment legislation, contractual obligations and internal policies.Maintain robust compliance, audit and governance standards across all sites.Manage risk effectively and escalate issues where appropriate.What We're Looking For

Essential

Proven experience in Account Management, MSP, RPO, Recruitment, Workforce Solutions or a similar client–facing environment.Experience managing complex and strategic client relationships.Strong leadership experience with responsibility for managing and developing teams.Commercial awareness with exposure to budgets, profitability or P&L management.Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills.Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.Highly organised, solution–focused and able to manage multiple priorities.Desirable

Experience managing national or multi–site client accounts.Knowledge of contingent labour, workforce planning or contractor management.Leadership and management qualifications, including CMI or equivalent.Experience driving diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.Why Join Us?
