Fluance RT85 Reference High Fidelity Turntable
North Berwick, East Lothian

Description
Selling my Fluance RT85 turntable. I've had this in storage and now moving on. If you're looking for a stepping stone to higher up turntables or you're looking for the one you want to keep forever, this is the one. I had it set up with a Leak Delta 30 amplifier and Leak 250 sandwich speakers. Beautiful product, solid construction and great sound. New belt and lid fitted.
Has a Nagaoka MP-110 MM cartridge. Couple of minor chips on plinth front edge (see photos) which have no impact on performance.
Collection only from Drem.
Fluance Product description:
Experience unparalleled vinyl playback with the Fluance Reference High Fidelity Turntable. Meticulously engineered for the discerning vinyl listener to reproduce audio recordings exactly as the musician intended.
Pure Analogue Performance
The Reference turntable delivers a warm, uncompressed listening experience, allowing you to get lost in the music. With no electronics in the signal path, from stylus tip to the gold-plated RCA outputs, for an exceptionally pure sound.
Nagaoka MP-110
Nagaoka is a Japanese audio brand with an expertise in designing MM (moving magnet) cartridges. The Nagaoka MP-110 is equipped with an elliptical diamond bond stylus. It has a reputation for delivering the warm sound that vinyl fans crave, with clarity, smoothness, and solid bass reproduction.
Clarity in the Sound with the Acrylic Platter
The high density and greater mass of the acrylic provide increased inertia to achieve a consistent speed while damping unwanted vibrations. Acrylic has an analogous resonant frequency to vinyl records to aid in the cancelation of reverberations resulting in a 3-dimensional soundstage with improved bass definition, a richer midrange, and greater signal clarity.
Precision Playback with Motor Isolation & Speed Control
The servo-controlled belt drive motor with speed regulating optical sensor continuously measures and adjusts variances in linear velocity and acceleration for a wow & flutter of 0.07%. The decoupling of the drive from the plinth suppresses motor vibrations and noise from reaching the stylus. This maintains accurate speed and reduces rumble so your records sound perfect.
Wood Plinth for Superior Resistance to Vibrations
The mass-loaded chassis inhibits unwanted resonance. The 3 rubber adjustable isolation feet minimize surface contact resulting in immunity to vibrations, for greater low-frequency signal pickup and improved imaging.
