Cast iron radiator with 4 columns
Surrey Quays, London
1 / 6
Description
A cast iron radiator with 4 columns, in good working order - it was working fine before being disconnected.
It is very heavy and robust and it sits on the floor - it is not wall mounted.
It has a single retaining arm/hook (see photo) to stop it tipping forward, but to make this work you would need to mount something on the wall for the existing hook to grab onto (in a hook and eye arrangement). You may want to just buy a new mounting kit - these are widely available.
Width: 60cm.
Height: 61cm
Depth: 14cm
Note the "TBOE" / "top, bottom, opposite ends" arrangement of the union nuts: the TRV needs to be installed on the flow at the top, and the lockshield needs to be installed on the lower valve.
No TRVs or lockshields are included.
It was removed during a renovation and is ready for its new home.
