We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Buyer to join a thriving procurement and supply chain team within the FMCG industry. This role in Brighton focuses on supporting the purchasing process and ensuring the timely delivery of products.

Description
Assist in sourcing and selecting products to meet market demands.
Support the negotiation of supplier terms to achieve optimal pricing and quality.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely reordering of products.
Maintain and update product and supplier databases accurately.
Collaborate with the procurement and supply chain team to streamline processes.
Analyse sales data to identify trends and inform purchasing decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Profile
A successful Assistant Buyer should have:
Proven experience in procurement or a related field within the FMCG industry.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for purchasing and data analysis.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Job Offer
Salary ranging from GBP 27,000 to GBP 30,000.
