Hello, I’m Roberta. I’ve just signed the tenancy for this lovely two bedroom flat in Lower Clapton. If you are actively looking for a room, you might have already seen the previous listing of this property that the owner posted a few weeks ago on Spare Room.

I’m looking for someone for the second double room, which becomes available on the 1st of Feb. If you’ve already expressed interest, feel free to drop me a message here as well.

The flat is on the ground floor of a Victorian house. It's a separate flat, but has a shared entrance. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Millsfield Park and Hackney Marshes, and within a 10 minute walk, you can reach Hackney Downs park as well. Chatsworth Road is just around the corner, with many charming cafes, independent shops, small cosy restaurants, and its Sunday street food market.
You'll love the area — it's the perfect place to feel the vibrant Hackney vibes while enjoying a peaceful spot. Hackney Downs and Hackney Central are literally a 10-minute walk away. You can also take the 242 bus, which stops nearby, and be there in no time. The area is pretty well served by London’s bus network. You'll find the 55, 308, and many other bus links within a few minutes walk. The nearest overground stations are Hackney Downs, Hackney Central, and Upper Clapton.


The rent is £925 including council tax. All the other bills are paid separately.


A bit about myself:

I'm 39, very sociable and easy going. I run my family business remotely for work, which takes me to Italy every 2/3 months, depending on the season. I also work part-time for an event company based in London. I really enjoy long walks, and spending my afternoons at the library or at some cute cafes where I can work from. I like caring for the house and keep it clean and tidy. I enjoy a relaxing and homely atmosphere at home (that it makes me take a break from our busy London lives) where we can share our day, but I also like to keep my spaces and be respectable of others’. I would love to share the house with a someone who shares my ethos.
