Looking for a lodger in Fishponds, Bristol.

I am looking for someone to come and share my home in Fishponds with myself from 1st Feb 26.

The rent inclusive of all bills is £650 and there is a £250 deposit. DSS is accepted but no pets as I already have a cat. Her name is Rosie and she’s very cute and good company.

It’s a minimum 6 month tenancy ongoing and I would provide a tenancy agreement.

I have a bright double room with window facing onto the back garden which is south facing. The room has been very recently decorated and is furnished and comes with a sturdy double bed, double mattress, cupboard, shelving and a clothes rack. Optional chest of drawers. The bathroom is next door and has a bath and separate mains shower and cubicle. The downstairs living space is open-plan into the kitchen, very light, full of houseplants and there is of plenty of space to live in. The kitchen has a lot of cupboard space, gas cooker, fridge/freezer….lots of space for cooking if that’s your thing. There is also a good sized back garden and a patio with table and chairs in the warmer months.

It’s a very quiet area where you will sleep peacefully and the neighbours are really respectful and generally quiet. There is plenty of easy on street parking if you have a car, space for a bike inside and the Bristol to Bath cycle track into central Bristol is only a few minutes away.

The house is located in Fishponds near Lodge Causeway and takes approximately 20 mins to cycle into town along the cycle track. Fishponds Road is only a few minutes away where you can find nice places like Crafty Egg cafe, Fed Deli and Artichoke Wholefoods shop. There are plenty of nice large green spaces nearby including the Oldbury Court Estate, Stoke Park and Snuff Mills. It’s a good location, not too far from the city centre whilst also benefiting from being a little further out with cleaner air and it’s quieter.

About me: I am male, 44 and I currently work for a Wholefoods Cooperative and I teach yoga. I have an allotment and enjoy gardening, spending time in nature, singing circles, dancing and cycling. I am predominantly vegetarian but do eat fish so probably wouldn’t suit a strict vegetarian or vegan. I do not party much these days so this house would suit someone looking for somewhere quieter and peaceful.

No couples and no smokers please :)
