We’re looking for a new housemate to join our friendly home in Tooting, as one of our current flatmates is moving abroad. The room available is a large, sunny double on the ground floor with plenty of natural light and a lovely view of our big patio garden, which gets sun all day.

You’d be sharing with three relaxed, sociable female professionals who enjoy a warm, easy-going household — casual chats in the kitchen, the occasional summer BBQ, and a generally friendly vibe. Two of us work from home, and the setup works well if you need to do the same. There’s also a very sweet cat who adds to the homely feel.

The flat is in a brilliant spot: 8 minutes’ walk to both Tooting Bec and Tooting Broadway stations, close to major bus routes and about a 20-minute walk to Balham. Tooting Common, cafés, shops and supermarkets are all nearby. Our landlord is genuinely excellent — responsive, reliable and very fair.

Rent is £668 per month, with bills usually under £120 — genuinely great value for Tooting.
