Sawgrass SG500 sublimation printer for sale but needs what i would guess is a minor repair & needs attention.
Hence the price
The printer was working fine until today but has now stopped printing properly. I have tried cleaning/flushing, but the issue is still there, so I’m selling it honestly as not fully working.
In the last few months I have replaced all the inks, and I also bought and fitted a new ink collection unit just 2 days ago. Please note that the inks i bought were non-sawgrass inks but have been working perfectly well up until this morning.
I have attached pictures of the printer as well as the prints from this morning. You can see how it starts off a bit unclear but the ink was darker and got lighter with each print. At this point I gave up as i have no idea about these things. I have not adjusted the brightness on the pictures. This is exactly how they look.
I have put it on as "fair condition" as I literally only bought it at the start of last year and today was honestly the first time i have had an issue with it.
This may suit someone who knows these printers and wants to repair it, use it for parts, or make use of the recently replaced inks and new collection unit.
