I'm downsizing my home studio, hence sale.

In full working order. The last photo shows this unit at the base of my rack
cabinet. Note that the TC Electronic M3000 reverb unit is being sold in a separate listing.

These are some of the best value tube preamps, with the added advantage
of providing one with the option to replace the stock Chinese tubes if one so
desires (which I have done to this unit). Note the tube mods I have carried out:

1. The stock chinese tube (12AX7/ECC83) for Channel 1 has been replaced
with a GE GL 5751, 5 star, Blackplate, Triple Mica, Square Getter tube -
a high quality tube which cost £70.00. It has an MU factor of 70 (as compared
to 100). What this means is that it has less gain with a smoother microphonic
profile, and is therefore more suited to recording vocals and acoustic guitars.

2. The stock chinese tube (12AX7/ECC83) for Channel 2 has also been replaced
with a Sylvania 6201(12AT7/ECC81) tube, with an MU factor of 60 (as compared
to 100). This has slightly less gain than the tube in channel 1, and again, is optimised
for recording vocals and acoustic guitars. I purchased this for £50.00.

The kettle lead and original package box are included.
