Description
This is a relatively compact (approx. 16 inches to the top of frame , not spindle ) sensitive drilling machine of Swiss pattern, threads and diameters are metric . No motor but plenty of room on base for a bespoke motor / countershaft set up . Adjustable table has six threaded holes plus some small dings and marks which shouldn't take too much to resurface. Spindle has some localized scoring and wear but not too bad and the spindle can be adjusted to run on unworn area .
Chuck mounting is 3/8 UNF , whether this is original I don't know , a Jacobs stub taper or similar might be better . Chuck runs visibly accurately.
