A pair of original antique etchings by Jas Connell (James Connell), a Scottish artist and printmaker active in the late 19th and early 20th century.
Both works are hand-signed in pencil and titled in the margin.
Locations depicted:
• Brodick Bay, Isle of Arran
• Pot of Gartness, Killearn (Stirlingshire)
Each etching shows a clear plate mark, confirming these are original pulled prints, not reproductions.
Both are mounted in simple black frames which appear mid–20th century. The prints themselves show light age-toning typical of works on paper of this age.
