Description
A large framed print of the artwork titled "Fine Weather and a Fair Wind" by the renowned British marine artist Montague Dawson (1890-1973) who is widely regarded as one of the greatest maritime painters of the 20th century. The picture captures a classic cutter boat sailing through open waters with four sailors on board.
The picture sits in an elegant and ornamented vintage gilt frame with an authentic nameplate on the bottom with the title and artist's name. There is also a string hook on the back ready for hanging on the wall.
It is in very good vintage condition with minor signs of age in places.
