Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 4 Tiptronic.
This is one of the first 996 Carrera 4 cars registered.

It has the original 3.4l engine with the dual row IMS which do not fail.
The car drives really well and has been my daily runner.
In my 3 year ownership there have been loads of jobs done including:

Jobs needed:
Engine rear main seal weeping oil (common 996 issue).
Exhaust a bit rattly on start up (suspect baffle loose).
Front bumper scuffed (by neighbour)
Indicator stalk does not hold in left position. (Common failure, updated stalks available from Porsche circa £300)
Some surface rust around rear arches (common 996 issue).
Rear right tyre slow puncture.

This was an insurance category S car many years ago but the only evidence I have ever noticed is minor damage to the front internal bumper bar. The car drives absolutely fine with clean exhaust gases. The bodywork is in general good shape for a 27 year old car.

I've tried to list all good points and bad points to be as honest as possible. Please get in touch if you have further info. The car is stored at my parents house, so my father can help with viewing and questions.

This is a very useable classic Porsche for a great price.
