Liverpool School of Plastering - Learn to Plaster - From 2 Day £329 - 5 Day £699

Ben was a fantastic tutor and helped me feel much more confident now to try some plastering at home. I have only tried plastering a couple of times, but the guidance I received from this course is invaluable. I would highly encourage anyone from any walk of life who has the slightest bit of interest in plastering to give this course a go

The wife and I have Just completed the two day course to do skimming. Bill and Ben done a great job of teaching us and giving us the confidence to have a go on our own house. In my opinion money well spent and a good bit of banter along the way

Enjoyed the experience, and the two instructors, Ben and Billy, showed exactly why this school is five-star reviewed. The knowledge shared is valuable, and it's the very reason people travel from all over to attend here! I was able to learn more than I expected and see the results of my experience at the end. Am I mixing correctly? Yes but learned how to improve. Was the timing of the plastering stages right? No but I now know the times. Tools, safety, methods, materials, additives, Reasons to manage your work? This is all covered on this course and definitely worth you time and money!! Definitely recommend it👌👌 I will also be coming back for rendering training.

I did the 2 day plastering course and can’t recommend it enough. My house needs loads of work, and while some jobs still need a pro, I’ve now learnt how to skim a wall and can tackle smaller jobs myself. Over the 2 days I primed, added beading, mixed plaster, filled holes with bonding, skimmed walls and a ceiling, and even had a go at dotting and dabbing. The group was small (only 4 of us), so it never felt overwhelming. We all got plenty of one to one time as well as space to practice on our own. The instructors were brilliant, so welcoming, patient, and explained everything clearly. As a girl I was a bit nervous at first, but there was no need to be. The atmosphere was supportive, the group was lovely, and we all helped each other and had a laugh. Left feeling loads more confident and learnt a new skill! Thanks to Ben and the team :)

I really enjoyed this course with Ben, he’s an excellent teacher. I did the 5 day course which covered prep/tools, boarding, bonding, plastering (walls, ceilings, windows etc). It’s pretty flexible so come with pictures of your space and Ben will ensure you can take it on by the end. You come out of the course with the confidence to take on your own work. Would recommend !
