Description
Changing colours throughout the year, Picea glauca var. albertiana ‘J.W. Daisy’s White’ (White Spruce) is a dwarf, cone-shaped, evergreen conifer adorned with creamy-white new growth in spring. As the season progresses, the foliage changes to blue-green. A slow grower, 1-2 in. per year (2-5cm), this Dwarf White Spruce makes a glorious accent in the rock garden. Perfect for small gardens. Performs best in full sun in slightly acidic, moist, well drained soils. Perfect as a distinctive specimen plant in the sunny border, cottage gardens or rock gardens.
