Easy to grow in the ground or patio pots ~ very hardy ~ tolerate most soil types.
Full sun or part shade.
Beneficial to pollinating insects.

Cherry ‘Hedelfinger’ - lovely sweet red-black fruit. Pretty white blossom.
Cherry ‘Morello’ - most popular for cooking. Fruit turns almost black.

Pear ‘Doyenne du Comice’ - one of the best ! Lovely raw or ideal dessert fruit, very rich flavour. Pale green fruit turning yellow, occasional red flush. Pretty white blossom.
Pear ‘Conference’ - very heavy cropper, sweet taste. Pretty white blossom.

Apple ‘Golden Delicious’ - sweet, yellow/golden green fruit. Lovely pink/white blossom.
Apple ‘Gala’ - known for its crisp,sweet fruit.
Apple ‘Jonagold’ - cross between Golden Delicious and Jonathan. Large juicy, crisp sweet fruit, light green with a red tinge. Lovely pink blossom.
Apple ‘Cox’s Orange Pippin’ - one of the best for desserts. Lovely pink blossom. Green/ yellow fruit turns golden yellow, with orange-red flush and stripes. Ideal for cider !
