Description
This rare, miniature orchid is originally found in Australia. They are one of the faster growing, yet drought tolerant miniature orchids. Ideal for terrariums or eco-jars due to their compact size. Produces tiny, lightly fragrant flowers.
Growing Instructions:
Light Requirements:
Prefers bright, indirect light or dappled sunlight.
Can tolerate some direct morning sun but should be shielded from harsh afternoon rays.
Temperature & Humidity:
Thrives in warm to intermediate temperatures between13–29°C
Requires moderate to high humidity 50–80%
Ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
Watering & Feeding:
Water regularly during the growing season (spring and summer), allowing the medium to dry slightly between waterings.
Reduce watering slightly in winter, but do not allow the plant to dry out completely.
Fertilize with a balanced orchid fertilizer (20-20-20) every 2 weeks in the growing season and monthly in winter.
Potting & Medium:
Best grown in well-draining orchid bark, sphagnum moss, or mounted on wood or cork for better air circulation.
Prefers a small pot or basket to encourage blooming.
Repot only when the medium starts to break down, typically every 2–3 years.
Flowering & Dormancy:
Produces delicate white flowers that are slightly fragrant.
Can bloom multiple times a year with proper care.
