Description
This ad is for an extremely rare 'Peanut Butter' fruit tree. The botanical name is Bunchosia glandulifera and it produces a fruit with a creamy, sticky, buttery texture with a fruity aroma.
Commonly called the 'Peanut Butter fruit' tree because of it's texture, some say it tastes like Peanut butter. It's not related to peanuts in any way, so suitable for those with nut allergies. It's a very interesting fast-growing, sub-tropical species, suitable for container growing.
The plant I'm selling here today is around 9" tall and a very healthy specimen. Unfortunately, this item is for collection only, from Islington, London.
