We are delighted to be able to offer for sale this gorgeous piece of Classic English Country House Interior Design.
A pair of Indian scatter cushions finished a Pastel coloured Teal Dupion Silk with piped edging and intricate Embroidered decoration in delicate tones of Dusty Pink and Light Coffee. The embroidery decoration includes birds of paradise and tropical foliage. Both cushions are both filled with plump Jonelle (John Lewis) branded curled feathers inners.
The ‘Jonelle’ brand was used by John Lewis from the mid 1950s through to the early 2000s when it was phased out. These cushions most likely date to the late 1980s.
These would be the perfect addition to a classic country house interior design scheme. Perfect to enhance an antique sofa, occasional chair or a feminine themed bedroom.
