Genuine Yamaha LU-90 PE upright piano, finished in beautiful polished ebony (high-gloss black). Year of manufacture: 2005. Serial number: J2297446.
The piano has been kept in excellent condition throughout. The previous owner looked after it superbly, and I have maintained the same standard since purchase, with a professional tuning every six months. The most recent tuning and assessment was carried out in April 2025 by a member of the Pianoforte Tuners' Association, who valued the instrument at £2,500–£3,000. A copy of the written valuation can be provided to serious buyers.
The LU-90 is a well-regarded mid-range Yamaha upright — a step up from the entry-level B series, and the predecessor to the JU109. It has a lovely warm tone and responsive touch, making it ideal for students working towards ABRSM grades, families, intermediate players, and adult learners.

Condition

Excellent overall. Honest disclosure: there are two very minor marks shown in the photos — a small chip on the cabinet just below the keyboard, and a light scuff on one top corner. The polished ebony finish is otherwise glossy and clean throughout, and the action and tone are in excellent working order.
