Description
This is an upright piano, and based on the inscription visible on the fallboard, it appears to be made by J. (Joseph) Wallis & Son(s), London.
It’s an antique upright piano, likely late 19th or early 20th century.
The wood has a veneered burl finish, common in Victorian-era instruments.
The ornate carved details and panel work also fit that period.
The keys appear aged, and some may be damaged or missing.
It has two pedals (look to be brass), typical of older uprights.
Height 127cms, Width 138cm, max Depth 63cms
Some wood fading on one side (shown in photo)
9 x key front (ivory I think removed) 8 x in separate bag. Small pink felt tip mark pm one key
