My name is Stuart, founder of Avos Learning, where we provide some of the highest-quality online Maths and Physics tutoring available in Scotland.

I am a fully qualified teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Maths and Physics in Scotland and internationally, including at some of the world's most prestigious schools.

Throughout my career, I have prepared thousands of students for their SQA examinations, giving me an exceptional understanding of the Scottish curriculum, assessment standards, and the skills required to achieve top grades.

Seven years ago, I established Avos Learning to make expert one-to-one tuition accessible to students across Scotland. Through our online platform, students receive the same outstanding teaching and individual attention they would expect in person—regardless of where they live.

Every lesson is completely bespoke. I carefully assess each student's strengths and areas for development before creating a personalised learning plan tailored to their goals. Sessions focus not only on building knowledge and understanding but also on developing the exam techniques and problem-solving skills that consistently lead to success.

Beyond the lessons themselves, I provide comprehensive academic support. Each student receives a personalised revision timetable, guidance on effective study techniques, and ongoing mentoring throughout the year. Students are also encouraged to contact me between lessons whenever they have questions or need extra support, ensuring they are never left struggling alone.

Our specialist online classroom has been designed specifically for teaching Maths and Physics. It allows us to write and solve problems together in real time, share resources instantly, and interact just as naturally as we would in a traditional classroom.
