We found Philip after a bad experience with a previous Physics tutor, at a time when my son was struggling with both the subject and the way it was being explained at college. As a result, he had lost confidence and was no longer enjoying Physics. After just a couple of sessions with Philip, my son began enjoying the subject again. Philip quickly identified the areas where he needed the most support and tailored his teaching accordingly. When my son does not understand a topic, Philip takes the time to explain it in different ways until it finally clicks, which has made a huge difference to both his understanding and confidence. Philip also sets clear expectations about the work and commitment needed to succeed at A Level, helping my son stay focused and motivated. Thanks to Philip’s support, my son is now approaching his A Levels with much greater confidence.
