Hi, I'm Deniz. Cloud engineer by day, photographer in my spare time. I'm building out my couples portfolio and offering free 1-hour sessions in Holland Park.

Why now?
I just invested in a Sigma 56mm f/1.4 prime lens, the same focal length professionals use for portrait and couples work. It's a portrait specialist lens, gives you that creamy blurred background, sharp subject look you see in magazine shoots. I want to put it to use on real subjects and build out a couples portfolio.

Why Holland Park?
I grew up around here and come regularly to read. It's while sitting with a book that I started noticing all the photographers shooting wedding couples and portraits in the park, the light, the gardens, the Kyoto Garden, the peacocks, it's one of the best portrait locations in London. I want to shoot here too.

Why free?
Typically I shoot landscape and travel work, which you can see on my website denmotion. I'm now branching into couples photography and need to build a portfolio in this style. You get professional-quality photos at no cost, I get to grow my work into a new genre.
