This car really is one of the most well-rounded and accomplished family cars of recent times! This 2019 model has the desirable combination of low emissions, gaining it ULEZ compliance (As it has a clean EURO6 diesel engine) and outrageously good fuel economy (Peugeot claim 66mpg average consumption). Somehow the 308SW manages to have greater luggage capacity than the externally larger 508SW and yet its also more economical - especially with this 1.5 litre BlueHDI engine which delivers 130bhp via a 6 speed manual gearbox.

Our car is a 2019 model which makes it a facelifted model with the more modern front end - It certainly is a very good looking car which is finished in a deep metallic blue that contrasts beautifully with the chrome exterior trim and aluminum roof rails to give this car real presence. I have always been a fan of the Peugeot HDI engine and this cars 130PS version combines smooth power delivery with very low running costs. It is claimed that this car has an average fuel consumption in excess of 60mpg, making it the cheapest cars to run in its class. All of this in a family estate car with 660 litres of boot space - The 308SW is more practical than any crossover or SUV and it rides beautifully, ensuring comfortable and relaxed transportation for all the family. If anything this estate version is an even more attractive car than its 5 door sibling with the sweeping roofline enhancing the long and wide stance of this impressive machine. . This is a real high quality car which is easily as good quality as the more expensive VW and Audi products and one of the best looking and most comfortable mainstream cars of recent years.

Our car has covered just 61k miles, so it comes as little surprise that it still drives and looks, fresh and fantastic! Well weighted steering, a smooth and responsive powerplant and excellent feel mean that you will enjoy every moment behind the wheel. Peugeot made a huge effort when developing these cars to ensure they performed as a drivers car as well as a practical family car so the 308SW delivers a superb ride and handling combination that elevates it above all rivals. The 1.5 litre BlueHDI may have been developed with economy in mind but it is a smooth operator which is more then capable of giving the 308SW serious shove (0-60mph is dealt with in under 10 seconds). I was especially impressed at how well this car cruises - It is nearly silent at motorway speeds and has a very useful array of driver aids including cruise control and a speed limiter function, which combine to make it one of the most relaxing and safe motorway cruisers you will ever experience.

● CONDITION;

This car is in excellent condition and the previous damage shown in the final pic has been repaired to a high standard. There are some very minor marks on the rear bumper which we are having touched-in prior to sale and were not part of the insurance claim previously made on this car (That was made for the damage in the final pic, which has been repaired to a very high standard).
