If so this practical Peugeot could be the answer ...
The car is just £20 to tax for a whole year , and does a claimed 74 MPG on a run , it must sniff the fuel to do that, wow !

Another main dealer px, just collected to day from a Main dealership in Sunderland, and one of 2 cars we brought back, I drove this, my wife drove the vw fox.
152 miles is a good test drive, and probably more than youll do on a test drive around Lincoln, but allows me to see and hear any faults
Any way, the car arrived in fairly good condition,
We've given it a full valet, and a machine polish, and it does drive as well as it looks...

- MECHANICALS:
The car is obviously pretty basic,
The 1.0 litre 3 cylinder engine does sound like an angry sewing machine,
Chain driven, so NO cam belts to worry about.
Its 67 horses are not gong to set the world on fire, but that's not what this car is about,
Economy, and so it changes gears well, all 5 of them,
And potters along, getting upto 60 mph in a spritely 12 seconds.....

- EXTERIOR:
The lovely car is finished in Gloss black.
It does look really well, and a bit more unique than the usual silver ones.
There is a small chip on the side pillar
The odd mark on either side of the rear bumper.......

The front bumper has seen paint, as has the passenger Wing, and both could do with repainting , so we'll have this done next week, or make me a silly offer and take as it is ?.....

We've given it a full valet and a machine polish.
It's only the odd mark here and there, and does seem to have been loved for the last 14 years on the roads, as the paintwork all seems original and fresh....
New 14' shiny wheel trims help the look...

- INTERIOR:
Usual Peugeot charcoal trimmed seats look well.
Drivers and passenger seat bolsters look nice.
High backed with no separate head rest they do work well.
No abrasion to the seat bolsters, and all are in good condition,
Carpets have cleaned upwell.
Original dealer fitted mat set is in the boot ....

- FEATURES:
NOT alot, this is about as basic as car as you'll find, so less to go wrong, and cheaper bills then:
- Electric front windows,
- Radio cd with Aux,
- Remote locking,
There's no sat nav, climate, heated seats or apple car play thingy in this car im afraid.....

- THE CAR HAS:
- Full V5, shows 5 previous owners,
- 12m MOT 13/01/2026,
- 2 Keys, 1 remote and 1 flat key,
- Peugeot book pack,
- Spare wheel , jack and tools in the boot....

- SERVICE HISTORY:
The car has a part service history with 6 stamps in the book, to 2016,
But the last owner has owned from 2018, but not handed the history in, sorry.....

- TYRES:The car has 4 good tyres on it, all over 5mm ,
Spare looks new and unused too....

- RUNNING COSTS:
The car costs just £20 to tax for a whole year,
Does 74 mpg on a run, or 55 mpg in town,

Most cars ( unless listed as spares or repairs) are sold with a minimum of 6 months MOT, but preferably with a fresh 12 months MOT for peace of mind.

Where possible we source full service history cars.

Our stock changes daily, mainly due to the lower margins we charge to create a higher volume.

I do love the Vw group cars,( VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda ) so you will see a lot of those, plus the smaller engine , cheap to tax and insure cars.
