About Us
Pit Stop Pets was founded in 2025 after we lost our first ever family dog Oreo. Our labrador Nala became sad and lonely without her companion, and we really missed our

little Jack Russell Oreo. We decided to rescue a beautiful Italian puppy from near certain death and give her a forever home with us. Bella, our Labrador x Segugio puppy,
has become a firm member of the household now, and we wouldn’t be without her.

We made the realisation that not only can we give a dog in need a home, but we can also offer care to pets through a drop-in service locally. Along side being a Wedding
Photographer, I can spend my time with some amazing animals. Being a mum of three boys and always having animals in my life, what better career to choose.

Growing up we have had dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, gerbils, turtles and geckos. They have all been a huge part of my life at times and I can’t imagine life without animals
now.

Pit Stop Pets has been set up to care for many types of pets. These include dogs, cats, rodents, fish, turtles, tortoises, insects, guinea pigs, rabbits and more. We have lots of
experience, insurance and DBS to make sure your beloved pets are in safe and confident hands.

We are based in Norwich, Norfolk and covers Areas in and surrounding Taverham NR8.

We pride ourselves in being experienced, reliable and trustworthy. All gained through life experiences and being a successful self-employed photographer for over 14 years. We
are non-smoking and hold a DBS certificate for added comfort to our clients.

Things to consider
From 30mins to 3 hours, we’ve got something that will work for you. If you’re not sure how many visits to book, consider that most grown cats can handle one visit per day,
whereas more sociable dogs prefer interaction more often. Do you have a snugglebug or an aloof pet, is your pet older and winding down or young and full of energy.

If your pet is on medication, you may need specific visits throughout the day?

We offer a free ‘Meet & Greet’ in which we will visit you and go through all your pet’sneeds. It is important to meet each pet personally, as they are all individuals needing their own specific requirements. Some pets absolutely love attention and…some don’t.

We are fully insured and ask you to complete an Application Form, alongside a contract to sign. This covers almost all eventualities, giving both you and us a peace of mind.

We accept cash, PayPal and Bank Transfer as payment methods. Payment is due 2 days before the service is carried out. In the event the payment is not made by this date, a late fee of £3 shall be added to the total amount. There is a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount due at the time of booking.

We like to use a Keysafe to securely store your keys on site at your home. These can be purchased for just £10 and easily installed. Pit Stop Pets are happy t help you with a Keysafe or alternatively discuss spare key collection arrangements. Keys are unmarked and will only have your pets name on.
