Adventurous, structured & enriching dog walks.
Tailored for working breeds, high-energy dogs & reactive dogs across North London — Shaping confident, well balanced dogs.
The Journey Behind The Funky Tails
The Funky Tails was founded by Elisa, alongside her two dogs — Chunk, a Springer Spaniel, and Moosh, a German Shorthaired Pointer.
Elisa’s journey into dog care began with Chunk. From early health issues to ongoing stress & reactivity he challenged everything she thought she knew about raising a puppy. Through patience, persistence, and guidance from Honest Hounds, she learned how to truly speak 'dog' and began to focus on structure, partnership, and empathy — transforming both Chunk’s confidence and their relationship.
Moosh has been a very different adventure. Confident and friendly, he is now starting to help other dogs feel at ease by offering an even tempered and reassuring canine presence. Together, they’ve shaped the foundation of The Funky Tails — an approach rooted in structure, empathy, and understanding.
A Thoughtful Approach To Every Dog
Before working with dogs, Elisa trained as an architect — a career that developed her organisation and attention to detail.
Those same principles guide her work today, where calm leadership and consistency are key to helping dogs feel secure. The Funky Tails was created to support every kind of dog — from sensitive and reactive to bold and energetic — through structured walks, small group adventures, and training-focused sessions designed to build confidence and balance.
Every walk is guided by patience and empathy, tailored to the individual dog. Because no two dogs are the same, and every one deserves the chance to thrive.
You can hear more of Elisa’s story on the Honest Hounds Podcast, or follow along on Instagram. And for those wanting to learn more, the first month of Honest Hounds’ Education Zone is just £1 with the code THEFUNKYTAILS.
