🚨🚨 MISSING / POSSIBLY STOLEN CAT 🚨🚨
🚨 MICROCHIPPED 🚨
Sadly, we have had another devastating incident involving one of our cats.
Less than two weeks ago, our male cat went missing and returned with a severe injury that sadly resulted in us having to put him to sleep. Due to the nature of his injuries and concerns that someone may have harmed him, we have since put trackers on our other three cats for their safety.
Last night, our female cat Missy went outside after eating her dinner. At approximately 10:30pm, her tracker went offline in Kents Hill, near H9 Groveway, an area she regularly visits to relax and chase moths and mice.
I went out searching for her last night and again this morning, but there was no sign of her.
Today, my partner returned to the area and unfortunately found Missy’s collar and tracker smashed in the road. There was no blood, fur or any other obvious sign that she had been injured. This has left us extremely concerned that someone may have picked her up and deliberately removed her collar.
We are aware of reports of cats potentially being taken in the local area, so we are reporting Missy to the police as possibly stolen. However, we are desperately hoping that someone may have seen something that could help us find her.
🙏 If anyone has dashcam footage, doorbell/CCTV footage or any other footage from the area around Kents Hill/H9 Groveway between approximately 9:30pm and 11:30pm last night, please could you check it?
In particular, we are looking for any footage showing someone stopping, picking up or carrying a cat in the area.
Missy is:
🐾 Black and white
🐾 Female
🐾 2½ years old
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Wearing a collar with a tracker when she went missing
We are absolutely heartbroken. This is the second cat we have lost in less than two weeks, and both of our cats are incredibly friendly and gentle.
If you have seen Missy, have any information, or have footage that may help, please contact us as soon as possible. Even something that seems insignificant could be really important.
