About Kerry – Kerry’s K9 Connections
Welcome to Kerry’s K9 Connections, providing modern, ethical dog training across Central Scotland.

I am an accredited trainer with PACT (Professional Association of Canine Trainers) and registered with the ABTC (Animal Behaviour & Training Council). With over 14 years of experience, my background spans both pet dog training and specialist assistance‑dog work.

For more than eight years, I have worked as the Lead Dog Trainer for a charity, training Assistance dogs to support individuals with a wide range of physical, emotional, and developmental needs. This role has shaped my understanding of behaviour, communication, and the importance of building strong, trusting partnerships between dogs and their handlers.

I am a graduate of the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour and hold a Diploma in Dog Psychology and Behaviour through the International School of Canine Psychology PACT Dog trainer.

My Training Approach
At Kerry’s K9 Connections, I use choice‑based, science‑backed, reward‑focused training. My aim is to work with both ends of the lead — helping dogs learn through positive experiences while supporting owners to understand how their dog thinks, feels, and communicates.

Training is never one‑size‑fits‑all. Every dog and owner is a unique partnership, so each programme is tailored to suit your dog’s needs, your lifestyle, and your goals. I guide you step‑by‑step, giving you clear, practical tools that build confidence, strengthen your bond, and create lasting results.
