Very disappointing experience We hired this company to cut down some large trees and remove all the garden waste. They came to provide a quote, we agreed on the price, and they started the work. After only a few minutes, they came back and asked for an additional £100. After some negotiation, we agreed to the increased price. They then asked us to pay the full amount before the work was completed. When we explained that we would pay once the agreed work was finished, they asked us for £150 for lunch, saying they had no money and would return after lunch to complete the job. They left and unfortunately never came back. They subsequently blocked our number and did not answer our calls or messages. The work was therefore left unfinished, and we were extremely disappointed with how the situation was handled. I would strongly recommend agreeing everything in writing and not paying the full amount until the work has been completed.
