Description

Sue Ross Legal are working on behalf of our client, a local, award-winning firm, to recruit a Property Litigation Paralegal to join their team.

Join our Clients Property Litigation team and play a key role in supporting a varied caseload of contentious property matters from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal to develop specialist experience while delivering exceptional client service.

What You’ll Do

* Assist with a broad range of property litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, possession claims, rent arrears, lease issues, boundary disputes, dilapidations, trespass, and adverse possession.

* Draft legal documents such as letters of claim, court forms, applications, witness statement drafts, chronologies, and case summaries.

* Conduct legal research and prepare briefing notes for fee earners.

* Support court processes: issuing claims, preparing bundles, monitoring deadlines, and liaising with courts, counsel, and process servers.

* Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering information, while also liaising with opponents and third parties.

* Attend client meetings and produce accurate attendance notes.

* Maintain compliant and well‑organised case files, assist with billing and time recording, and support administrative tasks including file opening and conflict checks.

What We’re Looking For

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

* A proactive, commercial approach to case management.

* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering a first‑class client experience.

* A collaborative team player who can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
