Paralegal / Trainee Solicitor Opportunity

Charles Simmons Immigration Solicitors is a specialist immigration law firm committed to delivering expert legal services to individuals, families and businesses. We provide tailored advice on all aspects of UK immigration, including visa applications, appeals, human rights claims and complex casework. Our team prides itself on a supportive, client-centred approach and a strong track record of results.

We are looking for a dedicated and organised Paralegal to join our immigration team. This role offers the opportunity to progress to a Trainee Solicitor position for the right candidate.

This position would suit someone who is serious about developing a long-term career in immigration law and is keen to gain practical experience within a professional and supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting solicitors with a range of immigration matters, including visa applications and appeals

• Preparing application forms and compiling supporting documentation

• Drafting correspondence and legal representations

• Undertaking legal research where required

• Communicating with clients, counsel and relevant authorities

• Maintaining and managing case files in line with deadlines

Candidate Requirements

• Law degree (LLB) or equivalent qualification

• A genuine interest in immigration law

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Careful attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively

• Professional and client-focused approach

• Intention to qualify as a solicitor

• Multilingual, preferably Punjabi, Hindi and/or Bangla/urdu but not essential
