Family Legal Assistant

We are currently seeking a Family Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to Fee Earners within our Family Department, working in line with our Client and Colleague Charters. This Family Legal Assistant role is ideal for a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.

What you’ll be doing:

• Management of client matters using our case management system, Proclaim

• Preparation, organisation, and archiving of legal files and supporting documentation

• Diary management for the Fee Earner, including booking client appointments and meetings

• Handling client and third-party telephone calls, enquiries, and requests, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently, politely, and in line with the Client Charter

• Managing incoming emails, post, photocopying, and other administrative duties

• Preparing court documentation, including xjnqpsq e-bundles

• Preparing client bills and managing account ledgers

• Providing support to other assistants and the management team as required

About you:

If you have strong verbal and written communication skills, good organisational ability, IT proficiency, and enjoy working as part of a team, this could be the role for you. Any level of family law experience is welcome, and full training will be provided
