Job Description
The role of Family Fee Earner involves providing high-quality legal advice and case management within the family law department. The successful candidate manages a caseload relating to family law matters including divorce, child arrangements, financial settlements, domestic abuse, and other family-related issues. This position requires a strong commitment to client care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters from initial instruction through to conclusion, ensuring timely and effective progression.
Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients, maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
Conduct negotiations, prepare legal documents, and draught correspondence relevant to family law cases.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution forums when required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client files and case progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with external professionals such as barristers, mediators, social workers, and other relevant parties.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm policies, including confidentiality and data protection standards. xjnqpsq
Contribute to the development and improvement of family law services within the firm.
