Description
A leading costs consultancy firm is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Law Costs Draftsman to join their team, specializing in Court of Protection matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to embark on a long-term career within the legal costs sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation of bills of costs for Court of Protection cases
Drafting schedules of costs and preparing points of dispute and replies
Gaining an understanding of relevant case law and statutory provisions
Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other legal professionals
Providing administrative support to senior costs draftsmen as neededThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A recent degree, ideally in law or a related field
A strong desire to pursue a career in costs law and Court of Protection work
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Good communication and organizational abilities
A proactive approach and a willingness to learnWhat’s on Offer:
