Conveyancing Assistant – Hailsham Office
Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm)

We’re working with a reputable law firm to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join their close-knit Hailsham team. This office-based position is ideal for someone with residential conveyancing experience looking to be part of a small, experienced team.
The Role:
Support an experienced conveyancer in managing residential property files
Handle searches, prepare documentation, and liaise with all parties
Maintain accurate records and assist with completions
Be a key point of contact for clients during the process
Work closely with colleagues in a small, supportive office environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a conveyancing or legal support role is essential
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Able to manage time and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Friendly, professional communicator
Must be comfortable with 5 days per week in the office (no remote working)
