About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Conveyancer or Conveyancing Solicitor to join our growing residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident fee earner with at least 3 years’ post-qualified experience to manage their own caseload and play a key role in delivering a high-quality conveyancing service to clients.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and client-focused, with the ability to handle a busy and varied caseload from instruction through to completion and post-completion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and equity release

*

Handle files from instruction through to completion and post-completion independently

*

Prepare and review freehold and leasehold contracts and supporting documentation

*

Conduct title checks, raise enquiries and review searches

*

Prepare mortgage reports, completion statements and contract packs

*

Ensure AML and compliance procedures are followed in line with firm policies and regulations

*

Submit SDLT returns and ensure all post-completion requirements are met within deadlines

*

Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression of matters

*

Maintain and develop relationships with referrers and introducers to support departmental growth

*

Ensure compliance with CQS Protocol, lender panel requirements, SRA regulations and internal procedures

*

Support the wider team and contribute positively to the ongoing success of the firm

Requirements

*

Minimum 3 years’ PQE as a Licensed Conveyancer, Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive

*

Proven experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently

*

Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions xjnqpsq

Excellent communication and client care skills

*

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Strong IT skills and case management experience
