Original oil painting of The Hamills in Paisley, by local artist Anne Gray.
This iconic scene in the centre of Paisley depicts the Hamill waterfalls on the White Cart River, flanked by the Watermill Hotel and the old Anchor Thread Mill. Once the hub of Paisley's thread industry, it is now a peaceful spot where people go to fish, or simply to sit and quietly reflect on the tumbling waters.
Oils on boxed canvas 18 inches x 14 inches (46 x 36 cm). Includes cord for wall-hanging.
All proceeds of the sale of this painting will go towards fundraising for Paisley Opera Community Chorus.
