LEE HUNG (1942-) 2 x Signed Watercolours - QUEEN STREET - HONG KONG (Both for £90)
New Town, Edinburgh
£90
1 / 5
Description
Lee Hung (born 1942) is a distinguished Chinese watercolourist renowned for his finely detailed depictions of modern and historic Hong Kong.
These two signed prints portray street life on Queen’s Road, Hong Kong’s first official road, built by the British Royal Engineers between 1841 and 1843. Through careful research, precise observation and an atmospheric colour palette, Hung brings the city’s past vividly to life.
Evocative glimpses of a bygone era, these works would appeal to collectors and admirers of Hong Kong’s history and art or simply make a great addition to any home or office decor.
