Good and reliable decorator

Julien did a load of work on renovating our house a few years back (I've finally got round to writing a review). It was during the start of the pandemic and he went above and beyond to get it all done. We now have a lovely house and have Julien to thank for it. Lovely guy, hard worker!

I am very happy with the renovation work completed by Julien and his team last year. From start to finish, their attention to detail was exceptional. They worked very quickly and efficiently, yet not at the expense of quality. The site was left spotless at the end of each day, despite the added challenge of having no rear access to the property. As with any renovation—especially in an older home—unexpected issues did arise, but the team was always adaptable, handling every challenge with professionalism and reassurance. One of the standout aspects of working with Julien was how clearly and patiently he explained each step of the process. He made a real effort to ensure I understood what was happening and why, which helped me make informed decisions more confidently—particularly important as a first-time home renovator. He was also consistently mindful of my budget, suggesting cost-effective solutions without compromising the integrity of the work. Even a year after completion, Julien remains incredibly responsive and helpful and is always happy to offer advice or assist with new projects. I would not hesitate to work with Julien again and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone considering a renovation.

Outstanding Builder – Highly Recommend I hired Julien to complete a large rear extension, and I couldn’t be happier with his work. Julien is trustworthy, reliable, and honest. He was always on time, friendly and respectful. He worked conscientiously to ensure everything met building regulations. I really appreciated his proactive approach and his creativity in suggesting ideas and solutions. The time estimation was good and covered all of the processes without any headaches. He also worked seamlessly and collaboratively with other contractors I had engaged, problem-solving effectively and making the whole process smooth. Just finished the conversion of a conservatory into an extension at the back of my house. Julien was fantastic from start to finish. He designed the whole thing and worked along side a very awkward engineer & inspector the whole time. You’re always up to date and informed on what’s going on. He was very helpful and informative throughout the entire process. Was more than happy to assist with anything. His problem solving skills are particularly great as plans are never as smooth as you hope and it’s just not an issue to him. He helped us order some extra materials for other parts of my project while he was here too so that we could get them for a better price. Great job, great team and a great end product. Thanks Julien for all your help. The wife even complimented how polite and friendly Julien and his team are which is always lovely to know. Will reccomended to anyone who ever asks me for a builder. 5⭐️

This is the second time we've used Julien & his team for building work, and he did a fantastic job on our kitchen renovation, helping us with everything from designing the layout, sourcing the kitchen and bathroom furnishings, and adding finishing touches. Would recommend (and have recommended) Julien to anyone who needs building work in the Bristol area
