Description
A beautiful ANTIQUE 9ct yellow gold vintage oval Peridot and seed pearl pendant, with 10 pearl settings in total: 6 smaller seed pearls set in a curve on the leaf motif (supporting the peridot) and 2 symmetrically placed in a pair of petals beneath the Peridot, with two larger pearls set above and below (one in a 6 petal flower above the Peridot) & (one in the blue bell flower below the Peridot). Colour: Green.
The small blue bell shaped flower is suspended by a round supporting ring for movement and is stamped with a 9ct hall mark on the reverse (viewable in photo 5). The front facing pendant is polished, the back has been left unpolished. Measurements: Peridot stone Width: 6mm x Height: 8mm oval. The length of pendant from the top of pendant loop to the base of the petal tip is: 50mm, the width at widest (curved point) is 28mm. It is a very fine beautiful piece. Weight: 1.9 grams. The stone is supported by ornate leaf and flower design in symmetry showing beautiful craftsmanship. The leaf and petals are encased in the design.
There is a main vertical central pin supporting intricately detailed flowers, petals and leaves of the peridot mount, which has a very tiny gap before the stone.
There is curved filigree style markings in decoration and incredible detail on the supporting arms of the two leaves holding the peridot. Photos have been taken to provide as much detail as possible for a full overview in the greatest detail. *The colour of the stone is accurately depicted. It is a worthy example of a pendant piece from this era showing expert workmanship. Sold as seen. *I can coordinate tracked postage if required
