Description
Norton Commando 850 MK3 1977 - NO ELECTRIC START
In need of minor recommissioning. Came to me with the carb hanging off and a weak spark after standing for many years. Sorted those out and had it up and running using a slave battery (video). It now needs a bit of love and attention to make it roadworthy again. Very easy restoration/project.
Heavy and dragging clutch, petrol tank is solid but needs cleaning out.
Mk2 Amal single carb conversion
Boyer 3 ignition
Podtronics (I think) rectifier/regulator
Alloy rims
Braided hoses
Tyres have good tread depth but are old
UK bike, all matching numbers, on SORN, V5c registered in my name. September 1977 registration so near the end of production.
N.B. A previous owner has removed the electric starter system and blanked off the hole in the chaincase as can been seen in the photos.
Sold as seen - all questions answered, viewing recommended.
