Description
1977/78 yamaha DT250MX.
Ride or restore.
A great project for some one here. I got this bike from a guy down south about 6 years ago and stored it with great intentions but work commitments have stopped me getting to her. Apparently this was payment to the previous owner for some landscape gardening work.
I have her running and riden it when I fist acquired the bike. Starts first kick sounds great
The engine runs very well but I would suggest that the petrol tank is flushed as old bikes an get surface rust inside tanks through sitting which can block carburettor jets.
I don't have the log book but will supply a reciept so new owner will need to apply for a log book.
All in all a great project which will be worth good money if restored or ride as is with patina.
Brand new battery
Tyres look great and have plenty of tread.
New seat.
Missing side panels and one rear foot peg
Side panels on Ebay £50 each.
collection from AB12 or delivery can be arranged UK wide at buyers cost
Open to part exchanges with Long wheel base van/hightop, older bikes projects cars etc
