Description
Hello I'm looking to sell my Willys Jeep CJ-5 from the 1950s.
It's originally from Yemen so Yemen plates, came to the UK in June 1978 and has been in storage since 1988. Main photo is from day I purchased the Jeep in 1988.
Complete but in parts, in need of renovation. Body is in good condition despite looking a bit scruffy. There are extra spare parts, second gear box, differential and half shafts (all originals).
It has a 2.0 litre F-head engine complete with 24 volt waterproof electrics.
Rolling chassis complete with all body parts, stripped ready for paint and reconstruction. Needs a new windscreen.
New part I have bought include:
- Four new tyres (235/85 by 16, light truck)
- Brake master cylinder
- Three wheel cylinders
- Rigid and flexible brake pipes
- Hand brake cable
- Diff and gearbox seals
- Front spring shackle
- Speedo head and cable
- Two engine mountings
- Engine sump gasket
- Cylinder head gasket kit
- Exhaust front pipe
Selling because I'm too old for projects like this now. Hope someone can find interest and enjoyment from it.
