VW T2 late bay Devon Moonraker campervan

Description

Registered in 1980, one of the last to come off the production line. Converted in Sidmouth, Devon. Has the original camping interior and roof canvas. Sleeps 4, two in the 'rock and roll bed' and two small children in the roof. The van is tax and MOT exempt due to its historic status. We have owned this van for 10 years and in that time we have given it a complete overhaul, changing all the upholstery including new foam on the rear seat, buddy seat and the roof bed. The front seats have been retrimmed along with all the door panels. It's also had new vinyl flooring and the addition of a bambus shelf under the dash.The van went through a full restoration in 2020 where any rusty panels were either cut out or replaced and it was treated to a full respray. It has had new seals all round and new window rubbers. We have paperwork and receipts going back 20 plus years.
Features: Original Electrolux 3-way fridge (we only use it on gas), original sink with tap and draining board (water pump in water container stored in cupboard), original two burner hob with grill, fed by campgaz bottle, interior light and pump powered by leisure battery, plenty of storage including larder for food, cupboard for cooking equipment/crockery, cupboard for clothes, storage under the rear seat and the original 'headbanger' above the rear seat.
Front seat belts and two rear lap belts, socket in floor for table leg (table top stored under the head banger), rear buddy seat, full elevating roof which will sleep two children.
Stock 1.6 litre engine with hot start relay, working heat exchangers (warm air in the cab for autumn/winter driving).
Tow bar.
Erde camping trailer, Outwell drive away awning and various camping equipment included if wanted. This van has been a pleasure to own with many happy memories over the 10 years we have owned it.
